SUD has recently changed our vendor for the secure online bill presentment and payment system. The portal has been developed by our new billing software vendor so that it works seamlessly with our account information while still maintaining all the required security protocols.
What does this mean for our customers? Now you can create an online account through which you can access your billing information, including historical usage data, payments made to your account, and amount due. You can even print a copy of your bill if needed. You can also make payments to you account for a small fee though our portal by either electronic check, credit card, or debit card.
In order to sign up to view you account online, click on the “Access Your Account” button in the upper left corner of our home page. To complete your application, you will need the latest copy of you bill that has your account number (without the dashes) and last meter reading on it. If you have any problems getting online to view your account, please call us at the office and we will walk you through the procedure.
Once you have successfully signed up and are able to access your account information online, you will still receive a paper bill in the mail every month unless you call us at the office and let us know the you no longer wish to get a paper bill. Regardless of your billing choice, once you sign up online to view you account, you will receive an email notifying you that your latest bill is ready to be viewed as soon at they are posted to our system.
